Israel is a meeting point of East and West in culinary as well, and Israeli cuisine is a combination of different cuisines – from hummus and falafel to schnitzel and gefilte fish. Since the ancient times, two most traditional products of this land were olive oil and wine, and the tradition continues. Other typical agricultural products include oranges, pomegranates, dates, honey and dairy.
