Israel is the holiest place in the world for Judaism, and the country of the Jewish nation, the scene of the Biblical events and central events in the life of the key figures in Judaism. In Israel you'll find the four holiest cities to Judaism – Jerusalem, Hebron, Safed and Tiberias. The Temple in Jerusalem was a place of Jewish pilgrimage, and the Western Wall is its only remains, and Mishna and Talmud were written in Galilee.
