The ancient time meets modern time in the Hula valley

One of the Biblical tels, recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Site is Tel Hazor, located in the Hula Valley, and known in early times as "head of all kingdoms". The site has remains of the days of Solomon and Ahab, and even earlier remains, and at national parks not far away there are remains with the earliest arch gate in the world and findings proving the existence of House of David, and remains of temple of the Greek god Pan. In the region there are also the towns known for their part in the Jewish return to Israel in the 19th century – Rosh Pina and Yesod HaMa'ala.
